DAILY WATCH: Christophe Claret Maestro

As the watch world turns its eyes to Geneva for this year’s SIHH, Christophe Claret has unveiled a highly complicated timepiece that is as aesthetically attention-grabbing as it is technically impressive. The bezel-less Maestro has a cone-shaped glass crystal that accentuates its 42 mm dial. Complications, such as the MEMO function and the date, are cone shaped as well, providing an interesting three-dimensional landscape to the dial. The MEMO function is there to serve as a reminder of one daily objective to accomplish. Whether it is going for a run or something as simple as picking up the dry cleaning, the MEMO complication is a fun and helpful way to remember tasks. The Maestro comes in either grade 5 titanium, for 68,000 CHF, or 5N pink gold, for 76,000 CHF. Both are limited to 88 pieces.
